den haag

The Hague reminds us of the United Nations
coz it’s home to the International Court of Justice
But we enjoyed a couple of hours layover in this city
and walked around with our backpacks exploring den haag.

We walked past so many cafe’s
but most were already closed because it was already late
(but it is still light outside because European summers are the longest:)
it only got dark after twenty-three hours the whole time we were there…

We also walked through the Chinatown gate
and shared a joke about how there were Chinese
in den haag because they prefer sky scrapers to cities without

The city looked vibrant
as we walked past sculptures and
street art that gave its distinct character
