Extra Two Rupees

I wish I had an extra two rupees this morning.
A little before 7:00am, I was at the newspaper depot getting my morning dose of “The Shillong Times.”
After I bought the paper and was heading back, a boy of about seven nudged me.
”Two rupees,” he asked.
I had no money. I shook my head and gestured that I had spent my two rupees on the newspaper. He moved on to ask another man for two rupees and was denied again.
But I could hear his pocket jingle.
Seeing no potential giver, he turned to an old-wrinkled lady who could very well be his grand mother (I do not know) and said, “Let’s have tea.”
The older woman followed him as they went for their morning tea.
